Discipline and consistency with my art, my family, and myself have been a continual delay in my ability to get things done for far too long. Here lately, with prayer, conviction, and good instruction, I found myself journeying on a different path of flourishing rather than anguishing. Finishing projects rather than parking them on a shelf to collect dust and my occasional glance.
The struggles are real and I’m discovering that they are quite normal.
The above pattern was created using Adobe Illustrator. I was following along Module 1 in Bonnie Christine’s Immersion Course. I first heard about surface pattern design while studying Design History in 2018. I found Bonnie in 2019. Now I am doing something about it in 2021.
Time is precious, if you are passionate about art related skills, take the plunge as I did. You won’t regret taking the reins of life, instead of letting life throw you off course.
